Editorial and medical review policy

This page explains how we write our content, how we keep it accurate, and the standards we follow. Our aim is to give UK patients clear, honest information to make an informed decision.

General information, not medical advice

How we write our content

  • We write with reference to authoritative sources, including the NHS, and we cite them where we state facts such as costs or clinical points.
  • We aim to be honest about risks and limitations, not just benefits. We do not claim that surgery is painless or risk-free, and we do not guarantee results.
  • We avoid superlatives and unproven claims, in line with UK advertising rules for cosmetic surgery (see below).

Medical oversight

Our medical content is overseen by Dr Skander Hendaoui, a specialist in maxillofacial and aesthetic surgery registered with the Conseil de l'Ordre des Médecins de Tunisie (No. 16601). Accuracy and updates

  • Prices, timelines and clinical information change over time; we review content periodically and update it.
  • Where a fact needs a source, we link to it. Some details specific to our service (for example package inclusions) are confirmed with the clinical team.

Advertising standards (UK)

We aim to follow the UK Committee of Advertising Practice (CAP) rules for cosmetic surgery: no misleading claims, no trivialising surgery, no targeting of under-18s, and honest presentation of risks. Rhinoplasty is only suitable for adults (18+) after an individual assessment.
